We felt that our industry was saturated with companies looking to sell telecommunications equipment and services. Only to fail on the implementation of support and service. All too often in our industry the first thing a company will do with a problem is to find someone other than themselves to point the finger at. communications come to a halt. Through these experiences, the Net Tel One Hedgehog Concept was born. 

We set out on a mission to correct this problem by hiring knowledgeable, reliable staff and teaching them to treat the customers problem as their own. 

What is the Hedgehog Concept? 

In business the Hedgehog Concept is the intersection of three circles. More than a strategy it's really an understanding. Jim Collins identifies the difference in his book "Good To Great". Great companies set their goals and strategies based on understanding; comparison companies set their goals and strategies based on bravado. The great companies are more like hedgehogs.  It's a similar axiom to the One Thing. Based on the famous essay by Isaiah Berlin, "The Hedgehog and The Fox" describes how the world is divided into two types. The fox knows many things. The fox is a very cunning creature, able to devise a myriad of complex strategies to sneak attack upon the hedgehog. The hedgehog knows one big thing, rolling up into a perfect little ball this becoming a sphere of sharp spikes, pointing outward in all directions. The Hedgehog always wins despite the difference tactics the fox uses. The comparison companies are more like foxes; they know many things but lack consistency. Hedgehogs are winners in business, they focus on what they are good at and do it well.

The Net Tel One Hedgehog Concept is found at the intersection of 3 circles. Each circle has a different answer.  Where they meet, holds the key to success.

We will ensure your issue is handled correctly and resolved quickly. At Net Tel One, you will never hear "it's not our problem".
